This update to JASE.IS
includes a series of improvements to set the stage for future enhancements.

Switched from Substack to Ghost+Medium. Updates to typography, the Portfolio, a new About section, and improved content.
The list
- Migrated Crossing Complexity subscribers to Jase.is.
- Updated typography to
Roboto
for headings andSource Serif 4
for body copy. - Added three product design case studies to my portfolio.
- Rearranged categories of work in my portfolio for clarity.
- Removed the leadership style (classical and jazz) slide from the portfolio. (Feedback was that it was creating noise and possibly confusion. I'll write on this in more depth instead in a future post.)
- Added brief statements about Leadership.
- Added brief statements about Design Systems for those who aren't inclined to explore my Lightning âš¡ design system in Zeroheight.
- Revamped my About section, including changing the navigation link from Intro to About.
- Added a temporary banner indicating that I'm actively working on enhancements to the site.
What's next
By February's end I plan to provide more content, bringing more of my case studies out of the archives. I also intend to adjust some finer points of typography for readability. I'm still gathering feedback on navigation, but that is likely to improve in February. Lastly, I continue to layer in improvements to enhance focus and I'll bring more edits to the About section and Portfolio so it's easier and faster for visitors to gain an impression of me, my capabilities, and experience.
